Janet Lynn (Marek) Andy

Janet Lynn Andy nee Marek passed away August 8, 2019.  Born August 29, 1961 she touched the lives of many through her work as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, loving daughter, sister and aunt as well as generous friend. Janet spent over thirty years dedicating her career to children with special needs and their families. She was fiercely strong, independent and lit up any room she was in.  On Sundays you could find her with family, friends and her beloved dogs cheering on her Cleveland Browns. Her infectious laugh, love of the sun and sand will not be forgotten.  Thank you Janet for sharing your light and on the sunniest of days we will know it is you smiling at us all.

She was preceded in death by her mother Judith Anne Carl, stepfather Arthur D. Carl, her grandmother Barbara Goff and great grandmother Ruth Thorne.  She is survived by her brother Dan Marek, sister Jacquie (Ted) Owens and sister Abbey (Brian) Korec and aunt Kathie Osswald; as well as her nieces and nephews Lindsay, Connor and Aiden Marek, Emily and Aubrey Owens and Tyson and Chloe Korec.

Friends are invited to the Bissler and Sons Funeral home for visitation Wednesday, August 14 from 7 to 9pm. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
