Judy Jo Tenney

Judy Jo Tenney, 81, passed away September 17, 2019 in Ravenna. She is finally at peace.

She was born January 13, 1938 in Ravenna to parents, Joseph H. Corley and Glenna I. Texter. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, M. Dick Tenney; and her brother, Lester Corley. She is survived by her children, Patrick Tenney of Stow, Denise Tenney Sells of Akron, Rebecca (Roger) Rose of Spring, TX, and Joseph (Melissa) Tenney of Charleston, OH; grandchildren, Joseph (Angela) Tenney, Alex Tenney, Cam (Bryan) Jellison, and Jeremy (Bri) Tenney; great-grandchildren Raymond Fox, Cheyenne Fox, Kylee Tenney, Beau Tenney, and Harper Tenney; brother, John (Lynette) Corley of Virginia Beach, VA; and sister, Susan LaPorte of Brimfield.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on SUNDAY September 22 at Portage Community Chapel, 6490 State Route 14 in Ravenna. A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Mark Miller and Joe Tenney officiating. Inurnment at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Haven of Portage County, 2645 State Route 59, Ravenna, OH 44266.
