Michelle Wolf

Michelle “Mimi” M. Wolf, 53, of Kent, passed away suddenly at home after a short battle with breast cancer on Dec 26th 2019.

Mimi was a dedicated mother, friend, and surrogate family member, adopting new self-proclaimed family wherever she went. She graduated from Bohecker’s Business College and later went on to serve as an integral clerical assistant for the Kent State University Justice Studies department and Police Academy for 16 yrs. Mimi always had the coldest and best ice water around, loved to just sit down by a good fire or with a good book (even better if it was a Stephen King book!), and never wanted to pass up a game of darts. Her contagious energy and infectious giggle will be missed by her wide circle of family and friends.

Mimi was preceded in death by her grandparents and fur-baby Shylo. She is survived by her partner David “Brutus” Dennis, daughter Nicole Bayless, son Daniel Wolf, step-daughter Jayme Votaw, granddaughters Carli & Macey Hunt, parents Diane Heck & Wesley Wolf, siblings Chris Wolf (Michele) & Jennifer Wolf, and fur-baby Jasper.

A viewing for family and friends will be held at Bissler & Sons funeral home Monday Dec 30th 2019 from 5pm-8pm. A separate celebration of life service will be held by the family at a future time TBD.
