Nellie E. (Smith) Slepoy

NELLIE E. SLEPOY (SMITH), of Brimfield Ohio.  

Born September 5, 1924 and lived a very active and memorable life for 94 years. 

Passed away August 9,2019 while at Stow Glen Nursing Home.

Preceded in death by her parents Alfaretta Barry Smith and John Thomas Smith. Survived by her three children: Diane Hunt Parr, Kenneth David (Karen) Slepoy, and Donna E. ( Pat) Dowdle. She had 7 grandchildren: Paul Hunt, Tamie Hunt, Tracy Couch, Eric and Brian Slepoy, Michael and Rachel Dowdle, and 9 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild, six brothers and sisters, Beverly Casey, David Smith, Margie Tannehill, Tom Smith, Phyllis Herdendorf, Connie Pratt also many nieces and nephews, 

Member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Brimfield Ohio , Started and managed the VIP Credit Union; also worked at the Kent State University Health Center and as a member of the Kelso Historical house she served on the board and as treasurer. 

Memorial Services are to be at 11 AM Wednesday, August 14th at Faith United Methodist Church in Brimfield Ohio.

Burial in RESTLAND cemetery in Brimfield Ohio.
