Richard J. Nemeth

Richard Joseph Nemeth, age 85, of Kent, died on Friday, January 10, 2020 at UH Portage Medical Center.

Richard was born May 1, 1934 in Adena, to Paul and Edith (Erdos) Nemeth.

He was a loving and devoted husband, dad, and grandpa.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ethel Nemeth; daughters, Vickie L. Hoffman, Debbie (Ron) Stacey, and Katheren (Jerry) Moore; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Ben P. (Alicia) Nemeth; sisters, Mary Jane Montoni, and Eileen Nemeth.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, David L. Nemeth, William P. Nemeth, and Robert J. Nemeth; sister, Viola Spear; and his parents Paul, and Edith Nemeth.

Calling hours will be held 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM followed by Funeral services at 7:00 PM at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, with Pastor Dr. Palmer officiating.  Cremation will follow at Bissler & Sons Crematory.  Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army and/or St. Jude’s Hospital.
