Sandra Waid Obituary
Sandra Martina Waid, age 59, of Kent, OH, peacefully ended her earthly journey on Saturday, December 8, 2018. She had been battling endometrial cancer since July of 2017.
Sandra was born April 1, 1959 in Landshut, Germany to Earl and Dora Waid.
She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Beach and Jasmine Hunt, her parents, Earl Waid and Dora Waid, her brothers, Mark (Patty) Waid and E. Matthew (Shannon) Waid, her niece and nephew, Abigail Thomas and Jack Waid, and her step daughter Samantha Hunt.
Sandra lived a life filled with adventure and made many friends along the way. She spent most of her life taking care of others as a geriatric nurse and later received her certification as a nursing home administrator. Her wit was unmatchable and her story telling and humor could fill a room with laughter. Her strength was inspiring, and generosity unmeasurable. She will be missed by many.
A Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Black Wolf Hall located at 3099 Graham Rd, Stow, OH 44224 from 11:30am-3:30pm. Music will be performed at noon and a potluck style lunch will be served throughout. Sandra always reminded us to "celebrate life" so please bring whatever you'd like to celebrate and honor her.
