Chancellor DeShaun Floyd, 40, of Kent, OH, left this world on Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. Born Nov. 22, 1977, in Ravenna, OH.
Chancellor is survived by his parents Sandra & James Floyd of Kent, Ohio; his sisters Terri Boykin and Erica (Walter) Floyd Holliday of Baton Rouge, Louisiana , his brother Gaylan (Patty) Floyd of Kent, Ohio; his niece Amanda Floyd, his nephews Lance Jones, Landon Jones & Peyton Floyd; his aunts Gayle O'neil, Sharyn Floyd, Kande Floyd, and Evelyn Floyd; his uncles Kenneth Grier & Lee Floyd; his best friend/brother Maceo Wright and his beloved dog Damian "D" along with many close relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Sarah Grier of Kent, and Mildred and Lester Floyd of Kent; Uncle Roscoe Floyd of Columbus; beloved dog Stormy and many relatives.
Chancellor was a great person, with a heart of gold. He always found the good in people and he had his own unique relationship with each one of us and wanted the best for us. He loved his family and friends near and far and we loved him. His smile and laugh would light up the room. He loved the WWE and that team up north. He will be missed dearly along with his long talks about life, sports, music, cooking, politics, and his hopes and dreams.
Calling hours will be held 9am-12pm Friday, September 28th Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent with funeral service to follow. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
