Peggy L. Kurtz, age 69, of Kent, died on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at UH Portage Medical Center.
Peggy was born July 24, 1949 in Ravenna, to Harold and Velma Stewart. She was a member of the Kent United Methodist Church. Peggy enjoyed shoppping and vacationing at Myrtle Beach. Most of all, Peggy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren..
She is survived by husband, David Kurtz of Kent; daughter, Jodi (Dino Maffei) Stainbrook of Ravenna; sons, Jeffrey (Angela Williams) Kurtz and Jason (Jen Urban) Kurtz both of Kent; grandchildren, Aaron Stainbrook, Austin Stainbrook, Aubrey Kurtz, Jeffrey Kurtz Jr., Ethan Kurtz, Kingston Kurtz, Jackson Kurtz, Deacon Kurtz, Benjamin Kurtz, Sarah Welker, Jacob Thompson; brother, Thomas (Aurora) Stewart of Ravenna; sisters, Pamela Carpenter and Donnette (Robert) Goodnight both of Massillon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Velma (Russell) Stewart.
Calling hours will be held 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friday, February 8th at the Kent United Methodist Church, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Dr. David Palmer officiating. Burial will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Kent, 1435 E. Main Street, Kent, OH 44240.
