Richard Oliva Obituary
Richard M. Oliva, age 83, of Ravenna, died on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at his home.
Richard was born July 8, 1935 in Kent, Ohio to Mike and Marie (Hijareda) Oliva. He was a member of the Pennsylvania-Ohio Locksmith Association, National Rifle Association and the Professional Locksmith Guild. Richard worked for Dick's Locksmith Service and retired from United Parcel Service after 40 years.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Dorothy Oliva of Ravenna; children, Cathi Fiorentino (Ray) of Ravenna, Cindy Oliva of Cape Coral, FL David Oliva (Nancy) of Tallmadge, Jeff Oliva (Lisa) of Dripping Springs, TX, Richard Oliva (Amy) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Shari Fleming (Scott) of Ravenna; eleven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph, Rudy and Robert Oliva.
Private funeral services will be held. Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory are handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Center of Hope, 1081 W. Main Street, Ravenna, OH 44266.
