Sandra Floyd Obituary
Sandra Ann Floyd (Betty) of Kent, left this world on Friday, December 14, 2018 at her home. Born May 15, 1944 in Carroll County, Ga.
Betty is survived by her husband of 48 years James J. Floyd of Kent; her children, Terri Boykin of Akron, Gaylan (Patty) Floyd of Kent, and Erica (Walter) Floyd Holliday of Baton Rouge, LA; sisters, Gayle O'Neil, Darlene Cundiff, Diane Dansby, and Delilah Hamilton; brother Kenneth Grier; god son, Ken O'Neil; grandchildren Lance Jones, Landon Jones, Amanda Floyd, and Peyton Floyd; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as many close relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Sarah H. Grier of Kent, Daniel Dansby of Kansas City, KS, son Chancellor Floyd of Kent, In-laws Mildred and Lester Floyd of Kent and many other relatives.
Betty loved to surround herself with her family. Family was so important to her as she would try to attend as many family reunions as she could. She loved to travel and read books. She loved with her whole heart and always enjoyed strong hugs from her kids, she told us all the time how much she loved us. She was a loving dedicated daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She would do anything for you. She really enjoyed the time she spent with her grand-children and great -grandchildren. She will be missed greatly. We love you Mom.
Calling hours will be held 11am-1pm Saturday, December 22nd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent with funeral service to follow. Burial will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery.
