Terry Nolte Obituary

AKRON - Terry "T" Glenn Nolte, 60, left us unexpectedly and far too soon on January 29, 2019.

Terry was born in Akron, OH and was a graduate of Stow High School (Class of 1976), where he was a multi-sport athlete and liked by all.

Terry excelled in his IT career, most recently a Vice President in Risk Management at PNC Bank.

He was a father who loved beyond his words and celebrated the strengths and differences in all five of his children. He enjoyed staying busy, watching sports, golfing and traveling to visit close friends. He spent most of his time enjoying family.

Terry is survived by many. He was a son to Don and Sue Nolte of Kent; a brother to Mike (Jeane) Nolte of Stow, Bonnie Nolte of Kent and Jeff Nolte of Los Angeles; a dad to Marin (Nick) Owen of Silver Lake, Derric Nolte of New York City, Alexa Nolte of Akron, Kenzie Nolte of Cincinnati and Colin Nolte of Kent. Terry took great pride in being Papa to Jake Owen and adored spending quality time with his "lady friend" Debbie Haskin of North Canton. Not to mention countless other family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 3 from 3 PM - 6 PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home (628 W Main Street in Kent). The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4 at 11 AM, also at Bissler and Sons. His final resting place will be Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
