On Tuesday, October 9th 2018, William "Bill" Smithberger, loving father of three children, passed away at age 78.

William was born on February 13th, 1940 in Kent, OH to Peter and Helen Smithberger. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Akron University in 1976.

William was preceded in death by his father, Peter, and his mother, Helen. He is survived by his three children, John, Paul, and Mark, his brother Ronald, his sister Kathryn, and his three grandchildren, Isaac, Emily, and Nathan,

Calling hours will be held 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 11th, 2018 at the Bissler and Sons funeral home on 628 W Main St, Kent, with a funeral service following. Burial at Standing Rock Cemetery.
