Allie L. Luli, 89, of Rootstown, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in the comfort of her home, with her family by her side. She was born in Richwood, WV on October 18, 1936 to the late Herbert and Lillie Lowden and was employed as an inspector at Colonial Rubber.
Allie was a longtime member of St. John Neumann Parish at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church and also attended St. John Neumann Parish at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was involved with the Altar Rosary Society and volunteered at UH Portage Medical Center. She was a frequent QVC shopper, enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening and an avid Country Music fan. Allie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Luli on September 20, 2024; her sons, John Luli Jr. and Girard “Jerry” Luli; and her sister Mable Coleman.
She is survived by her children, Bob (Pam) Luli, Carolyn (Dean) Abbe and Eric (Anne) Luli; daughters-in-law, Carin Luli-Mudd and Joyce Podijel; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:00AM at St. John Neumann Parish at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church, 3487 Old Forge Rd. Rootstown, OH 44272, with the Rev. Fr. Kevin Bertleff as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Altar Rosary Society at St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church or to the Sisters of Notre Dame Chardon, 13000 Auburn Rd. Chardon, OH 44024.
