Anna Belle Caipen

Anna Belle Caipen, 96, of Brimfield, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 in the comfort of her home, with her family by her side. She was born in Birch River, WV on July 8, 1930 to the late Dwight and Hattie Mollohan.

Anna was a wonderful homemaker and fantastic seamstress. She made several articles of clothing for her family and friends. Anna will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Doug Bragg; daughter Patty Slaughter; sisters, Shirley Hughert and Louise Rose and brothers, Dana and Leonard Mollohan.

She leaves her loving husband John H. Caipen; daughter Sherry Neuwirth; step-daughter Deborah (Paul) Ferry; step-son David (Lisa) Caipen; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Glen (Glenda) Mollohan and Bernard Mollohan and her brother-in-law Vick Hughert.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery.
