Carol A. DiCintio, age 70, of Akron, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at Summa Health Systems Akron City Hospital. She was born in Medford, OR on December 19, 1955 to the late Levi Gerald and Patricia Monroe.
Carol leaves her siblings, Cathryn Smith, Donna Lynn Mitchell and Jerry Monroe; close family friend Jerry Hughes; two nephews and three nieces.
In honoring her wishes, Carol will be cremated and a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026 at 1:00PM at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. Inurnment will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery.
