Charlotte Krause (nee Kotzmann), age 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Lawrence J. Krause.

Charlotte was a loving mother to Lisa (Jeffrey) Ambrose, Laura Krause, and Paul (Melissa) Krause; proud grandmother to Sarah (Thomas) Vincent, Anna Ambrose, Ryan Ambrose, Lauren (Michael) Zitney, and Stephen (Nicole) Krause; and delighted great-grandmother to Mila Lukas and Baby Zitney.

She will be remembered and missed for her strength, love, wisdom, kindness, and sense of humor.

Calling hours will be from 5:00 to 7:00PM on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. Funeral services will held, at the funeral home, on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery.
