Charlotte “Char” Turner (nee Bunch), 62, of Paris Township, passed away peacefully at her home on December 31, 2025 from natural causes, surrounded by the life and love she so freely gave to others.

Born on April 25, 1963, in Clinton, Tennessee, Charlotte—known affectionately as “Char” to her many friends—was a bright light to everyone who knew her. She had an easy smile, a kind heart, and a gift for making people feel instantly welcome. Char was truly loved by her family and friends, and leaves behind countless people who cherished her warmth, humor, and genuine joy for life.

Char married the love of her life, Richard Turner Jr., on October 18, 1985, at Ravenna Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Together they built a life rooted in love, friendship, and shared adventures.

Char was deeply dedicated to helping others. She graduated from Streetsboro High School and later graduated with honors from the University of Akron, earning an Associate’s Degree as a Medical Assistant. She went on to work in high-risk OB/GYN offices in Akron and Kent, where her compassion and care touched many lives. Continuing her passion for healing, she later attended the Ohio College of Massotherapy in Copley, Ohio, becoming a licensed massage therapist. Char provided therapeutic massage at Robinson Memorial Sports Medicine, Cuttin’ Loose Salon, and through her own private practice, always focused on helping others feel their best.

Char lived in Kent, Ohio from 1985 to 1995 before settling in Paris Township, which she proudly called home from 1995 to the present.

Outside of her professional life, Char embraced creativity, nature, and community. She loved photography and had a special eye for beauty—flowers, sunsets, peaceful outdoor moments, and everyday joys. She shared her photos generously on Facebook, delighting friends near and far. Char was also the beloved and unofficial photographer for the Thrown Together Band, capturing not only the band but the friendships and memories formed at every show.

She loved “glamping” with her husband Rich at local campgrounds, especially Indian Creek in Geneva-on-the-Lake, which she lovingly called her “happy place.” Char also found joy in creating diamond art, spending hours crafting stunning pieces that she often gave away as heartfelt gifts to friends and family.

Char was a true social butterfly. She loved being with people, laughing, talking, and making sure everyone felt included. Whether at a band gig, a gathering with friends, or a quiet moment shared one-on-one, Char’s presence made everything brighter.

Char is survived by her loving husband, Rich Turner of Paris Township; her mother, Peggy Beganie of Clinton, Tennessee; and her father, Lindon Bunch of Streetsboro, Ohio. She is also survived by her siblings: Linda "Susie" (Greg) Rice of Kent, Ohio, Ricky (Kris) Bunch of Ravenna, Ohio, Teresa (Danny) Cox of Clinton, Tennessee, Matt Bunch, Tyler (Jen) Bunch, and Carly Bunch. She was a devoted aunt to her nephews Cody Cox, Wyatt Cox, Jackson Cox, and Alan Bunch.
