Curtiss L. Wegman

Curtiss Lyn Wegman, 63, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away on October 21, 2026.

Born on November 28, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio, Curtiss dedicated his professional career to mechanical engineering. His last employer was Akron Special Machinery in Akron, Ohio, where he was respected for his strong work ethic, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence.

Curtiss was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda Wegman, and his parents, Preston Wegman and Lee Stock.

He is survived by Dorothy Wegman, who was a cherished mother figure in his life; son, Greg Allen (Lisa) of North Royalton, Ohio; his daughter, Vickie Allen of Mantua, Ohio; and his cherished grandchildren, Nathanial, Zachary (Savannah), and Connor; and great grandchildren Gabriel and Alessa. He is also survived by his sister, Dara Wegman-Geedey (Kevin); his brothers, Preston Wegman II (Sandra) and Cortland Wegman; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Curtiss will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his accomplishments throughout his engineering career, and the kindness and strength he shared with those who knew him. He was also known for his faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior and his belief in an eternal heavenly home with Him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St, Kent, OH 44240.
