Dale R. Vacha, 48, of Deerfield, died Saturday, October 27, 2012.
He was born May 12, 1964 in Akron to Harry and Karen (Vacha) Huntsman. A patriot, Dale served his country first in the Army and then as a contractor overseas with ManTech International as a master mechanic and site supervisor and completed tours in various locations in Iraq. Dale was a motorcycle enthusiast; he could often be seen and heard on his Harley around town. Dale was a world traveler and made friends wherever he went. Dale was always willing to lend a helping hand and never met a stranger. He was a huge animal lover and owned three Dalmatians.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Gorecki) Cooper; mother, Karen Vacha of Ridgeland, SC; brothers, Dean (Denise) Huntsman of Beaufort, SC and Andrew Vacha of Ridgeland, SC; sisters, Thelma Vacha of Ridgeland, SC and Karey Huntsman of Kent; grandchildren, Khrystian and Cassandra; step-son, Stan Cooper of Kent; nephews, Emmanuel, Kaleb, and Nathan; nieces, Courtney, Mindy, and Haylie; also Guy, Kim, and Kacey; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Friday November 2nd at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home with Funeral Officiant Kevin O'Brien officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM before the services at the funeral home.
