Listen to Obituary

Danielle Alexandria Bernard went peacefully to eternal rest in the comfort of her home, beside the love of her life, Jonathan Lane on July 8, 2025

She was born on August 10,1990 in Akron, Ohio then graduated from Copley High School In 2008. In 2020 Danielle moved into her forever home in Stow, Ohio with her soul mate, Jonathan, her 14 year old daughter Sienna, 11 year old son Cole and their Boston Terrier Beau. Their home was filled with love, laughter and perfectly imperfect chaos.

Danielle had the best friends in elementary and middle school back when technology wasn't readily accessible, it was a joy watching her imagination at work verified by lots of laughter. Danielle was the girl in high school who got along with everyone and encouraged her friends to have lunch with the new kid. She was a defender on the high school soccer team and played percussion in the marching band. Her kids followed in her footsteps with band in their elementary school days and both received her athleticism. Danielle with her son, Cole and nephew, Quenten were currently learning to play the guitar together. She was a true lover of music.

To know Danielle was to love her. She was a radiant light in the lives of all who crossed her path - a woman whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering love made everyone feel seen, valued, and welcomed. Whether you were family or a stranger, Danielle made you feel like you belonged.

Danielle had a remarkable sense of humor. She loved to laugh. She would light up a room when she used her funny voice to talk to her sweet and spoiled sidekick, Beau.

Her work ethic and friendly demeanor were admired by her coworkers at UPS. She would go out of her way to help others on and off the job site. Danielle worked with an elderly assisting company in Stow as well, assisting people was second nature to her. She would tell stories of all the things she was learning from the life stories told to her by the clients she cared for. She gained inspiration from a lovely couple to plant an herb garden that she clipped from weekly to cook with.

Danielle was a devoted and fiercely loving mother to her children. Instilling in them the strength, compassion, and values that will guide them through their lives. Her dedication to their future was unmatched, and her impact on them and on all who knew her is immeasurable.

Although her time here was far too short, Danielle's legacy will live on in the hearts she touched, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence is irreplaceable, her spirit eternal. We take comfort in imagining her dancing in a field of sunflowers and sunshine, forever at peace.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and joy that the circle of people who loved her will collectively work together to heal our broken hearts.

Danielle is survived by her grandmother Gerri Bernard; mother Laura Bernard; stepdad Jason Hershey; sister Mackenzie Hershey; mother-in-law, Cheryl Lane; in-laws Stephen Lane, Emily Lane, Ric Thomas, Todd and Trish Fogle; beloved niece Ellie, who was so dear to her heart; amazing nephews, Cayden Lane, Bryce Thomas and Quenten Lane; aunties & uncles, Deb Jadud, Cathy Easter, Bobbi & Bill Schauer, Judy Morgan, Tina Krakora; cousins Nick, Jason and Brian Jadud, Josh and Corey Poole and Katie Krakora; her adopted family Rudy Harkless, Gina Capriola, Margaret and Ray Leasure, Bob and Bryce Norman-Wilging.
