Dorothy E. Sepi

Dorothy E. Sepi, a lifelong resident of Kent, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, she was 98.

Dorothy was born January 17, 1927 in Susquehanna, PA, to the late Paul and Mary (Klinko) Smith.

Dorothy was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also worked many years at the Euclid Garment Mfg. in Kent as a seamstress alongside her daughter, Diane. Dorothy was a member of Saint Patrick’s Church of Kent where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Beci) Sepi of Cincinnati and Rick (Karen) Sepi of Tallmadge. Dorothy had 5 grandchildren, Rick Gambaccini (Nicole), Jen Sepi, Brett Sepi (Jennifer), Thomas Trautman (Debbie) and Russell Trautman (Tamie), 8 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Michael V. Sepi, daughter, Diane Trautman, son-in-law, Thomas Trautman and four siblings, William Smith, Robert Smith, Paul Smith and Florence Helmling.

The family would like to give a Special Thank You to the Staff and Nurses at both the Mulberry Gardens Memory Care Center and the Crossroad Hospice for their dedication in caring for our mother while in their care.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, April 18 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. A private Burial will be held at a later date.
