Eric Dene Schmidt, age 67, of Hartville, died on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at his home surrounded by family.
Eric was born December 10, 1953 in Akron, to Joseph and Gloria (Krohmer) Schmidt Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Schmidt Jr., and Gloria Schmidt; brother, Chris Schmidt.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathleen; children, Eve (Steve) Baker, and Rory (Wendy) Schmidt; grandchildren, Shawn (Kelsey Merritt), Christian, Lily, and Penelope; sisters, Dawn (Andy) Sabol, Aurora (Tom) Stewart.
