Helen E. Reedy, 71, of Rootstown, died Monday, June 30, 2014 at Maple Wood Care Center in Streetsboro.
She was born May 18, 1943 in Salem to William L. and Mary Jane (Kamere) Rinehart. She was a member of the Rootstown United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and painting ceramics. She was also an avid reader.
She is survived by her husband, Donald E. Reedy, whom she married on October 28, 1960; son, Donald (Leisa) Reedy Jr. of Stow; daughter, Theresa (Robert) Noland of Ravenna; and grandchildren, Ryan and Sarah. She was preceded in death by her brothers, William, James, and Joseph; and sister, Donna.
Private services have been held at Grandview Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, C/o Alzheimer's Research, 70 W. Streetsboro Street, Suite 201, Hudson, OH 44236.
