Jacqueline H. Thissen

Jacqueline H. Thissen, 90, of Munroe Falls, passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026. She was born in Cleveland on June 20, 1935 to the late John and Lucy Howat. Jackie proudly served in the United States Navy from 1953-1955. She was employed in clerical work and was raised in the Methodist faith. She enjoyed flower arranging, sewing and bowling and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Thissen on September 12, 2022; her son Jeff Thissen; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and John Belt and her brother-in-law William Beck.

She leaves her children, John Thissen, Jim Thissen, Debi (Charlie) Redman, Ken (Melanie) Ingram, Jim Ingram, Jerry Ingram and Karen (Dwight) Ickes; daughter-in-law Debbie Thissen; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and her sister Sandi Beck.

Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2026 from 3:00-4:00PM at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240. Funeral services will follow at 4:00PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to a charity of your choice.
