James L. Griggy
James L. Griggy, 73, of Brimfield, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at his home.
He was born August 17, 1937 in Suffield to Harry J. and Anna S. (Huhn) Griggy. Jim retired from Teledyne Monarch as a supervisor
He is survived by sons, Jim Griggy of Fairlawn and James (Nicole) Garrett of Rittman; daughters, Joan (Steve) Maloney of Niceville, FL and Donna (Pat) Pettit of Freeport, FL; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and sisters, Theresa Wolfe of Massillon and Cecilia Griggy Mathia of Randolph. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond Griggy and John Griggy; and sisters, Mary Ann Phillips and Catherine Javornik.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Tuesday, March 29th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Private graveside services will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Randolph. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the James Griggy Memorial Fund, c/o Home Savings Bank, 142 N. Water Street, Kent, Ohio 44240.
