James G. Williamson

James G. Williamson, age 82, of Kent, died on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at UH Portage Medical Center.

James was born July 1, 1937 in Youngstown, to Alexander and Helen (Powell) Williamson.  He retired from Massey Ferguson and was the owner of Liberty Printing.  Jim was a stock car racer and enjoyed competing on dirt tracks.  He enjoyed playing basketball and spending time at Lake Guilford.

He is survived by his sons, Andrew Williamson and James (Morticia) Williamson; three grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Williamson; parents, Alexander and Helen (Powell) Williamson; sister, Elizabeth Billiter; brothers, George L. "Sparky" Williamson and Earl A. Williamson.

Private services were held.  Services in care of Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 West Main Street, Kent, OH 44240.
