Jeanne Wesley Vasu, 96, of Hudson, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Green Village. She was born in Williamson, West Virginia on January 7, 1929 to the late Rexford and Alma Thompson. Jeanne grew up traveling between Cleveland and West Virginia for school and work on the farm. She graduated from Nursing School and worked at Lorain Hospital for many years. She was also employed as a model and obtained her real estate license and worked with her husband Roy at Vasu Realty in Lorain.
Jeanne was an active and decorated member The Daughter’s of the American Revolution and The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America. She was a member of Christ Church Episcopal in Hudson and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband William Wesley; her 2nd husband Roy Vasu; her son Darrell Wesley and her brother Rexford Thompson.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Terrie Wesley; grandchildren, Jillian (Scott) Schultz and Ronald (Missy Prince) Wesley; great grandchildren, Sabrina, Chloe and Violet Schultz.
In honoring her wishes, Jeanne will be cremated and a private graveside service will be held at Markillie Cemetery.
