Kathy Jo Deitch

Kathy Jo Deitch, 57, of Kent, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Cleveland Clinic Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center. She was born in Cleveland, OH on December 23, 1968 and was a 1987 graduate of Streetsboro High School. Kathy went on to earn an associate degree from Boheckers College and was employed as a typist & reviewer.

Kathy enjoyed camping and going to the beach. She loved spending time with her family and will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother, daughter and sister.

She leaves her mother Minnie Marie Willa; her father Joseph Roland (Sue) Willa; daughter Kayla Deitch; son Todd (Terrie) Willa; brothers Geoffrey (Toni) Willa and Kenneth (Clare) Willa; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Kyle, Brittney, Chloe and Matthew; boyfriend and longtime companion Mike Knapp and his son Austin; and several cousins and other extended family members.

In honoring her wishes, Kathy will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1:00PM-5:00PM at American Legion Post #685, 10001 Aurora-Hudson Rd. Streetsboro, OH 44241.

Doors will open at 1:00PM with a short memorial service at 1:30PM, followed by a meal and fellowship.
