Kevin L. Olesh

Kevin L. Olesh, 69 of Kent, died Wednesday June 3, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 2, 1957 in Ravenna Ohio to Valetta and Joseph Olesh. He worked as a drywall finisher and was a proud member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Union #707. He enjoyed woodworking, visiting his son and grandchildren in Clearwater Florida, his daughter and grandchildren in Mogadore and cheering the grandchildren at sporting events. Kevin also loved spending time with his wife, Glenda at Shepherd's Beach Resort in Clearwater Florida. He was a graduate of Streetsboro High School class of 1975.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Glenda; children, Derrick Olesh of Clearwater Florida, Katie (Jason) Myers of Mogadore; Grandchildren, Lucas, Livia, Bentley, Bristol and Beau. Siblings; Neal, Brian (Mary), Marla (Charles) Trimmer, Janice (Rich) Knotek, Jeanne Lenno.

Sisters in law, Kathy (Scott Alexander) Daniels Stopera and Audrey Olesh.

Special friends, Joe Johns and Gary Denali.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, mother, Valetta, stepmother, Bernie, siblings, Joseph and Lisa, son, Ryan, sister in law, Becky Erdman and niece, Lauren Olesh.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 2pm-6pm held at the family residence. In lieu of flowers, Kevin would like everyone to have a Long Island Ice tea or a Rum Bucket. Cheers.
