Larry Frank Yunger

Larry Frank Yunger, 78, of Ravenna, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at University Hospitals Portage Medical Center. He was born in Cleveland on July 31, 1947 to the late Jerry and Helen Yunger and earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Cleveland State University.

Larry was employed at Quality Mold Inc. for 30 years, retiring as the head of CNC Programming. He was an avid reader, wanting to constantly be learning about something, whether it was astronomy or rare dog breeds. Larry was a dog lover, enjoyed listening to music and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Doris Yunger, whom he married on November 2, 1968; his sister Ellen (Rick) Cullen of Westlake, OH; and two nieces Melanie and Shawna.

In honoring his wishes, Larry will be cremated and will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in his name, to the Portage Animal Protective League or to another animal charity of your choice.
