Linda Tyger, 78, of Stow, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Linda moved to Ohio in 1969 and made Stow her beloved home beginning in 1971.

She worked at Parker Hannifin beginning in 1984 and retired in 2009 after 25 years of dedicated service, known and respected by her coworkers as a loyal and hardworking third-shift employee.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother. She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Tyger; Brother in- law Ron Tyger, her children Rhonda Mermelstein (Myke), Jeff, Danny, and Jeremiah; her grandchildren Stephanie (Andy), Tommy, Michael (Erica), Jonathan (Jeanette), Jason (Christine), Abbey (Jonah), Jackson, Josh, Marissa, and Mitchell; and numerous great-grandchildren who adored her and many others from the Tyger and Stuchell family.

Linda loved camping, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her family. She was happiest when everyone was together — laughing, sharing stories, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

Holidays at Linda’s house were always something special. Her home was always full — full of family, full of food, and full of love. She took joy in cooking big meals, making sure everyone’s favorite dish was on the table, and filling every room with laughter. For Linda, family gatherings weren’t just traditions — they were moments where her heart shined the brightest.

To know Linda was to know kindness, generosity, and the warmth of a home that always had an open door. She made everyone feel welcome, whether you were family, friend, or someone she’d just met. Her love was steady and unconditional, and it showed in the way she cared for everyone around her.

Though our hearts ache with her loss, we find comfort in the memories she gave us — in the sound of her laughter, the smell of her cooking, and the love that will forever fill our hearts.

Linda was the heart of our family. Her love made our house a home, and her spirit will live on in every gathering, every story shared, and every hug that brings us closer together.

Rest peacefully, Linda — your warmth, love, and laughter will stay with us always.

In honoring her wishes, Linda will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
