Mildred Mae Over, 90, of Kent, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Woodlands at Robinson.
She was born October 29, 1924 in Elyria, to Joseph and Pearl B. (Kuhns) Over. Her parents, Joseph E. and Pearl B. (Kuhns) Over moved to Brady Lake in July of 1929 and has lived there ever since. Mildred graduated from Kent Roosevelt High School in 1942. She then attended and graduated from Bohecker's Business College in Ravenna. She was a bookkeeper for Carter-Jones Lumber, Havre Chevrolet and Billow's Funeral Home. Mildred enjoyed crafts especially sewing, crocheting, knitting and painting.
She is survived by her brother, Claude Over of Silverton, OR; sister, Ethel Hunsicker of Kent; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Elmer Over; mother, Pearl B. Over; sisters, Elinor "Nonie" Wolford and Helen Louise Wausat; and brother, Harold B. "Ben" Over.
Calling hours will be held 5-7 PM Monday, January 12th at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory in Kent.
