Patricia L. Keller

Patricia Lou Keller, 87, of Kent, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at UH Portage Medical Center. She was born in Willard, OH on July 30, 1937 to the late Willard and Eleanor (Robinson) Scheid.

She graduated from Willard High School and Kent State University. Patricia was an elementary school teacher in Willard and East Cleveland prior to her marriage to Dean H. Keller on June 9, 1962.

She was very active in the churches which she was a member, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, attending and leading Bible studies, serving on committees and in the Altar Guilds. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Foran.

She leaves her husband Dean; son Jonathon (Athena Salaba) of Stow; daughter Jennifer of Stow; granddaughters Ilyanna and Ariadne.

In honoring her wishes, Patricia has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 50 N. Prospect St. Akron, OH 44304. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:30AM-11:00AM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church or to the Portage County Animal Protective League.
