Ronald Lee Kercenneck

Ronald Lee Kercenneck, 83, of Rootstown, Ohio, passed away on June 13, 2026. He was born on July 1, 1942, in Ramey, Pennsylvania, to the late, Lester and Helen Kercenneck. He graduated from Mogadore High School and later retired from Acme Warehouse.

Ron was known for his great sense of humor and his memorable one-liners—he always had something to say that could make people smile. He had a way of brightening everyone’s day. He was an outstanding family man who loved watching his boys play soccer and was always present for the moments that mattered. Ron was generous, caring, and compassionate in every way, and he had a lifelong love of sports and game shows.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Pat, of 48 years; his children, Ron (Michael), Chris, Cindy, Becky (Bill), Jon (Shannon), and Ryan (Lindsay); as well as 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his children, Kevin, Deana, and Lisa, and his grandson, Andrew.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 10:00-11:00AM. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM on Thursday, at the funeral home.
