Rosemary Testa

Rosemary A. Testa, age 81, of Kent, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 28th, 2025.

A loving mother, sister, and friend, she touched the lives of many with her kindness, gentle spirit, and faith.

Rosemary was a lifelong resident of Kent and a devoted member of Saint Patrick’s Church. She was also a proud graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures—completing word search puzzles, playing cards with family and friends, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy each evening.

Rosemary is survived by her son, Mark Testa; her daughter, Maria (Jeffrey) Joy of Northford, CT; her brother, John and Roberta Orisini (nee Hall); along with many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Gerald Testa; her parents, Bartholomew and Mary Orisini (nee Apicello); and her brother, Joseph Orsini.

A graveside service will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery 12 P.M. SATURDAY May 3rd, 2025. Friends and family are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service at the Bistro on Main. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
