Simon Evan Snellenberger

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Simon Evan Snellenberger, who fell asleep in death on August 4th, 2026, at the age of 48. Simon was a loving father and devoted husband, as well as a cherished son, brother, and uncle. Above all, he was a faithful servant of Jehovah God.

Born on April 9th, 1978, Simon was a lifelong resident of Kent, Ohio, and a graduate of both Kent Roosevelt High School and Kent State University. He was known for his kindness, his willingness to help anyone in need, his wonderful sense of humor, and his deep love for his family. He took a genuine interest in people and had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued, quickly endearing himself to everyone he met.

Simon is survived by his beloved wife, Aline, and their son, Danick. Being a husband and father was one of the greatest joys of his life. He treasured the privilege of raising Danick, becoming not only his father but also his trusted friend. His commitment to his family was a responsibility he embraced with love and took great pride in fulfilling.

He is also survived by his mother, Mickey Snellenberger; his brothers, Sam (Shelby) Snellenberger II, Emmett (Meilani) Snellenberger, Mike (Michelle) Snellenberger, and Steve (Maria) Snellenberger. He will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many dear friends.

Simon was preceded in death by his father, Sam Snellenberger I.

Family and friends are warmly invited to join us as we gather to celebrate and honor Simon's life.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 23rd, 2026, at 4:30pm at the Streetsboro High School Auditorium, 8585 OH-14, Streetsboro, OH 44241. Doors will open at 3:30pm.
