Tracie J. Lane

Tracie J. Lane, 62, of Atwater, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 following an extended illness. She was born in Ravenna on August 20, 1963 and was a 1981 graduate of Field High School. Tracie was employed at Industrial Molded Plastics prior to starting her family.

She was very involved with her children’s activities, especially her daughter’s travel softball. She loved spending time with her family whether it was traveling to Sugarcreek or Put-In-Bay or going on shopping trips. Tracie loved watching football and baseball and was a big fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Guardians. She was an avid animal lover, especially horses and was active in the 10th Calvary 4-H in her youth. She enjoyed helping friends by taking care of their horses while they were away. Tracie was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father Gene Seibert.

She leaves her loving husband Mark Lane, whom she married on February 15, 1992; her mother Shelby Seibert; children, Shawn (Rochelle) Lane and Alyssa Lane; granddaughter Kaylee Grafton; brothers Bob (Barb) Seibert and Tom (Mary) Seibert; her dogs Cocoa and Scuttles “The Boys”; and many friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026 from 10:00-11:00AM at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240, followed by a funeral service at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to the Portage County Humane Society.
