William H. Snodgrass Jr.

Willliam H. Snodgrass Jr., 69, of Ravenna, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 from a genetic lung cancer, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center. He was born on August 16, 1955 to the late William Sr. and Geraldine Snodgrass. William was a truck driver for over 30 years, driving for Panther Trucking, Fed Ex, Orange Freight and LA Van Lines. He loved fast cars and enjoyed collecting knives and eagles and playing video games and poker. William was an avid Ted Nugent and Ozzy Ozborne fan and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Michael Snodgrass, sister Gladys Townsend and niece Michelle “Mushy” Townsend.

He leaves his sons, Christopher Snodgrass, William H. Snodgrass III (Jessica) and Richard Snodgrass; grandchildren, Christopher Jr., Christian, William IV, Lehaunna, Gabriella, Landyn, Laney and Luke; niece Rachelle Hunley; nephew Craig Townsend; special friends Debbie and Bernie and several cousins and other family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in his name to the American Cancer Society.
