Adam J. Smith, age 47 of Aurora, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 15, 2023 while vacationing in Florida. He was born December 21, 1975 to Tim and Mary Smith and grew up in Kent, Ohio.
Adam had a love for many things; home projects that let his creativity and craftmanship shine, playing golf and other games, fishing, watching sports and yelling at the television like they could hear him, traveling, any reason to have a party and celebrate with family and friends, and laughing. Adam lived his life to the fullest and found the fun in most everything he did. He could make others smile and laugh on even their worst days. Adam had a dedication most strive for, from the commitment and pride he took in his work, to his devotion to those in his life. Most of all, Adam just loved. Adam gave his whole heart to all that he did and everyone that he loved. If you knew Adam, you knew love.
Adam is survived by his loving wife, Madonna (Mosca); mother, Mary Smith; siblings, Colleen (Wayne) Bowers and Ben (Chelsea Bush) Smith; grandmother; Carol Smith, mother-in-law, Joy Mosca; his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie (Ian), Luke (Mackenzie), Olivia, Owen, Jaxon, Josephine, and Maddox, and so many other loving family members. Adam also leaves behind to grieve a beloved group of friends whose bonds can never be broken.
He was preceded in death by his father, Tim Smith; father-in-law, Chet Mosca; and grandparents, John Smith, and James & Gladys Coleman.
A Visitation will be held 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 22, 2023 followed by a Celebration of Adam’s Life at 4:00 PM at Riverwood Chapel, 1407 Fairchild Ave, Kent, OH 44240.
