Bessie Wilson Obituary

Mrs. Bess Wilson, born Bessie Lorene Thomas in Russell, Arkansas October 31,1921, passed away November 29, 2019, less than a month after her 98th birthday. She was married to WWII veteran, Joseph Carr Wilson for forty-five years until his passing in 1993. Bess and Joe had lived and worked in several cities in Arkansas, Illinois, and Georgia. After Joe’s passing, Bess remained in Tucker, Georgia until 2002 when she moved to Stow, Ohio to be near her family. Bess had been a resident of Brookdale, then Vista Veranda in Ravenna, OH for the last eleven years. Bess loved painting, decorating her home, movies and cats. Bess is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lorna and Mark Herdina of Kent, Ohio. And daughter, Linda Stephens, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
