Carolyn M. (Dorn) Jones

Carolyn M. Jones (nee Dorn) Beloved mother and grandmother Carolyn Mae Jones passed away on March 20th 2022 after a short illness. She was born on September 12, 1935 to parents Edith M. (nee Slater) and Karl Dorn. She was preceded in Death by her parents and husband Gary C. Jones and stepdaughter Dawn Hamrick.

Carolyn adored her children and grandchildren and worked endlessly to provide them with the best life possible. A resident of Kent for most of her life, Carolyn worked for many years at Huntington National Bank and Hall-Green Agency. Carolyn and Gary (Jones) retired to Murrells Inlet, SC where she worked for J C Penny’s well into her retirement. She loved sharing her Penny’s discount with family and friends.

Carolyn is survived by her children Joe Habraken (Kimberly Rich), Sue White (Rod) and Peter Habraken (Lynn). Grandchildren Elyse, Karlie (Joel Leius) and Kyle White and James Habraken.  Great Grandchildren Emmett, Ean, Evan, Kellan and Ezra. She is also survived by stepdaughter Vanessa Johnson (Jeff) and step grandchildren Cora Merchant, Ashley Hamrick, Scott Jones, Jake Johnson and Jennifer Johnson.

Our Mother was the kindest and most loving mom you could ever imagine; we will miss her.  A graveside service will be held on June 1st, 2022 at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent, OH.
