Cherie (Knapp) Duren

Cherie Duren, 74, of Ravenna, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Longmeadow Care Center.  She was born in Ravenna on March 13, 1948 to the late Walter C. and Thelma Knapp. She was a graduate of Field High School and was employed in customer service for 30 years. Cherie was very artistic and an avid music lover.  She enjoyed playing piano and squeezing babies fingers.  She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

In addition to her parents, Cherie was preceded in death by her brother Keith Knapp and sister-in-law Trudy Knapp.

She leaves her husband of 45 years, John Duren; children, Robert (Denise) Combs, Bradford (Christina) Combs and Wendy (Jeff) Olson; six grandchildren; brothers, Walter C. Knapp III, Gary (Peggy) Knapp and Greg Knapp and sister Tammy (Keith) Fuller.

In honoring her wishes, Cherie will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00AM at Ravenna Tower Lodge, 165 Oakwood St. Ravenna, OH 44266.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
