Christina Fertig Obituary

Heaven gained another beautiful angel, Christina (nee Barone) Fertig. Her children had to say goodbye to their mom on February 27, 2023. Sadly, she passed away at home with her family at the age of 95.

She will be remembered by many as being “the life of the party”. She had a great sense of humor and was always a hard worker. Her family was her pride and joy. Until we meet again…we love you, mom.

Christina is survived by her daughter, Tina (Tim) Scherer; son, Ronnie Fertig; grandchildren, Alisen, Timothy Jr. "T.J.", Tony, Mike, and Jeff.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph “Gus”; parents, John and Antonina Barone; and brother, Mario (Francis) and Geno (Annette) Barone.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
