David L. Pangallo, 73, of Kent, OH and Bonita Springs, FL, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, at home.
He was born on September 28, 1946, in Franklin, PA, to the late Katherine and Ross Pangallo.
Dave retired in 2006 after a nearly 40-year career with Schneller. Dave loved life and fought a tough battle with cancer this past year. He was an avid golfer and thoroughly enjoyed golfing with his friends in Kent and in Bonita Springs. He will truly be missed by all who loved him and were blessed to know him. “This journey has taught me the true meaning of friendship” was Dave’s feeling.
Dave is survived by his wife, Kathy (Petsche Doppelhauer); his brother James (Patricia) Pangallo; his stepdaughter, Brandy Olefir; his granddaughter, Darya Olefir; his sisters-in-law Debbie (Jim) Jones; Terry Hughes, Becky Petsche, Mary Beth (Randall) Day; brother-in-law, Steven (Renee) Petsche, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 28, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent, OH. A private burial will take place at Standing Rock Cemetery, Kent, at a later date.
