Deborah K. Rhoads

Deborah K. Rhoads, 68, of Kent, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at UH Portage Medical Center.  She was born in Ravenna on March 16, 1953 to the late Ray L. and Charlene G. Weeks and was a 1971 graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School.  
Deborah was employed as a school bus driver for Kent City School District for many years and more recently, worked as a caregiver.  She was an avid dog lover who was very caring and had a big heart.  She will always be remembered as a fun-loving person who will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by her son Christopher Rhoads; brother Ray L. Weeks Jr. and sister Tammy Weeks.
She leaves her son Joel Rhoads; grandchildren, Joel Rhoads Jr., Taylor Rhoads, Andrew Rhoads and Ashley Rhoads; sister Linda L. Hamilton; niece Jessica L. Straight and nephew Steven Straight.
In honoring her wishes, Deborah will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to the American Heart Association.
