Donald Weaverling Obituary

Donald R. Weaverling, age 87, of Streetsboro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 19, 1933 in Everett, PA; son of the late William I and Grace (nee Claybaugh) Weaverling. Donald enjoyed motorcycles, bike races, and trains. He was a proud, hardworking man who spent his entire career working for Argotech in Cleveland until he retired, as well as a U.S. National Guard veteran. Donald’s loving and friendly nature will be greatly missed.

Donald was the devoted husband of 65 years to Joann (nee Wilburn) Weaverling; cherished father of Donna McFee, Tim Weaverling, the late Sondra Kerr, Arthur Weaverling, and Tom Weaverling (Laura); beloved grandfather of Jeremia, Arthur Jr., Cary, Josh, Sarah, and Ryan; loving great grandfather of Savannah, Shaelyn, Shianne, Lexi, Leeann, and Charlie; brother of William Weaverling II, the late Charles Weaverling, and the late James Weaverling.

All services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Donald’s name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
