Donna L. Hansford

Donna L. Hansford, 75, of Kent, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, March 13, 2023.  She was born on June 18, 1947, to Donald and Betty Lemons of Kent, Ohio. 

The oldest of four girls, she grew up in Kent and lived most of her life in her hometown.  Donna attended Kent State University and worked at several Kent law firms.  She recently retired after 30 years of service with the Ohio Department of Transportation.  Donna loved spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren.  She was an avid reader and movie buff.  Over the years she enjoyed hosting many family gatherings and was a wonderful cook.  Donna will be dearly missed by her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Hansford, her daughters, Sarah Hansford (Ravenna, Ohio) and Meghan Doran (Brian) (Fairlawn, Ohio); grandchildren, Kiara Hansford, Matthew and Leah Doran; sisters, Roberta Drennan (Colorado Springs, Colorado); Rebecca Fries (Newport News, Virginia); and Lori Best (Bryan) (Kent, Ohio). 

Private services will be held.
