Donnie R. Thissen, age 93, of Hudson, OH, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Summa Akron City Hospital.
Donnie was born March 16, 1929 in Tallmadge, OH to Albert and Dorena (Williams) Thissen.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Thissen; children, John Thissen, Jim Thissen, Debi (Charlie) Redman, Ken (Melanie) Ingram, Jim Ingram, Jerry Ingram, and Karen (Dwight) Ickes; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Jeff Thissen.
Calling hours will be held 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2022 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2022, at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Roger McKinney. Memorials may be made to charity of your choice.
