Elizabeth “Liz” Anne (Sweeney) (Ryan) Blaha, born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 24, 1950 and currently a resident of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee passed away October 3, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. She was a 1968 graduate of Holy Name High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was a loving wife, mother, and friend who will be greatly missed.
Liz is survived by her spouse Gil; five children, Tim (Maggie), Mike (Gail), Kitty (Marcus), Kristy (Chris), and Kelly (Steve); two stepchildren Bethany and Ian;
16 grandchildren Jennifer, Nicole, Kyle, Alexis, Nick, Jack, Ben, Devin, Logan, Maddy, Emma, Michael, Colten, Kyndall, Riley, and Hayden; six great grandchildren Jenna, Jacob, Kane, Barrett, Cameron, and Jameson.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Regis Ryan.
A celebration of life for the family will be held at a later date at her home in Tennessee.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Gentiva Hospice staff, especially Punam, for the wonderful care they gave Liz during her time in hospice care. You made her last days comfortable up until her passing. For that we are very grateful and appreciative.
