Eloise (Jones) Murry

Eloise Murry, 71, born in Steubenville, Ohio, on September 10, 1950, passed from this life to eternal life on Tuesday July 26, 2022 while in her home.

A loving Mother, Grandmother, and Friend, Eloise was a remarkable artist and enjoyed creating elegant pieces for her family and friends, engraved with beautiful bible verses.

If she was not spending her time with family and friends, she could be found watching movies, especially Avatar, talking to her dog Lexi, listening to gospel music, or playing Roblox with her grandson KJ in her free time.  Embodying her favorite color yellow well, Eloise was the sunshine in so many lives.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Laura) Murry; Granddaughter Alexis (Kenton) Murry-Mobley; Grandsons KJ Murry, Kyle McManus, Tyler McManus; Sisters, Mary (Ransom) Ware, Gloria (John) McGahee, Charlene Jones, Comellia Ordia, Estrella Jones, Valesca Jones, and Christine Robertson; Brothers, Arthur Walker Jones, Jr., and Bertram Jones.

In addition to her parents, Arthur Walker Jones, Sr. and Essie Mae Jones, Eloise was greeted in heaven by Cousin Gerald Lewis, and her sister Helen Chase.

In keeping with Eloise’s wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 6:00PM at Bissler and Sons Funeral Home, 628 W. Main St. Kent, OH 44240.
